What happens during a typical class?

Children build a model, explore the lesson concept and test how the model works. Depending on the program, the class may also include robotics or coding activities.

Does my child need previous experience?

No. Children are guided through the build and activities during class. Programs are designed to introduce concepts progressively.

Are all programs coding programs?

No. AlgoPlay and RoboToys include coding. Bricks Challenge and Galileo Technic focus on mechanical engineering concepts and working mechanisms.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at Delena Neighbourhood Centre, 93 Delena Ave North, Hamilton, ON L8H 6B6.

How long is a session?

Current registration is offered in 8-week sessions. Program pages show the current schedule and session pricing.

Can I register for a single class?

Single class availability may vary. Please check the registration page for current options.

What should my child bring?

Any specific instructions for a session will be provided with registration details. Children work with Young Engineers materials during class.
