Ages 5–9
Bricks Challenge Robotics
Children build working robotic models and explore how movement, force and mechanical systems affect what those models do. The program makes concepts such as torque, leverage, energy, transmissions and mechanical advantage visible through the builds themselves.

What children explore
Mechanics through building
Each lesson uses a physical model to explore forces, movement, energy and the behaviour of mechanical systems.
Big ideas made visible
Children encounter concepts such as torque, leverage, load distribution, mechanical advantage and transmissions through the models they build.
Science has a story
Lessons also introduce scientists and inventors such as Archimedes and Leonardo da Vinci, connecting the build to the history behind the ideas.
