AlgoPlay Robotics and Coding

Children build a mechanical model, then use coding blocks and sequences to control how it moves and responds. As they work, they practise concepts such as algorithms, loops, conditions, debugging and sensors in a physical, visible way.

What children explore

Build first, then code

Children assemble a physical model before creating code sequences in GoAlgo using Algobrix® function and parameter blocks.

Coding logic they can see

Commands such as movement and light activation produce an immediate physical result, helping children connect code with cause and effect.

Skills build over time

Lessons progress through algorithm planning, conditions, loops, debugging, sensors and other increasingly advanced programming ideas.

Coding that connects directly to the build

Children use the GoAlgo app to create code sequences and see the model respond to their instructions.
